Privacy notice
Privacy, in plain language.
Effective July 22, 2026. This notice explains how Archalon LLC handles information connected with Into the Extraordinary.
1. Scope and who we are
This notice applies to intotheextraordinary.com, Into the Extraordinary, and related communications operated by Archalon LLC, a Texas limited liability company. It covers information collected through this site, our emails, and direct communications with us. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to hello@intotheextraordinary.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide. This may include your email address when you subscribe, your name and contact details when you schedule a call, the contents of messages you send, responses to forms or surveys, subscription status and transaction information provided by our payment platforms, and information needed to deliver a resource or service you request.
Our hosting and service providers may also process technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, referral page, pages requested, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, and security or diagnostic logs. We do not ask you to send sensitive personal information through ordinary email.
3. Email subscriptions and embedded content
The subscription form on this site is embedded from Substack. When you use it, Substack receives the information you submit and may set cookies or collect technical and usage data under its own privacy policy. Substack provides Archalon LLC with subscriber information and publication analytics so we can send the Field Notes and operate the publication. Paid subscriptions are purchased and managed through Substack, which uses Stripe for eligible web payments. Archalon LLC may receive subscription status, plan, transaction, refund, and customer-support information, but does not receive your full payment card number. You can review Substack's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
4. Other service providers
We use service providers to run the project. These currently include OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers for website hosting, Substack for email publishing, and Cal.com for optional call scheduling, and Stripe for eligible payment processing through Substack and future direct offerings. This site also links to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other services. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.
5. Personal Inner Rehearsal inquiries
If Personal Inner Rehearsal commissions open, information shared in an inquiry, introductory conversation, or written intake will be used to evaluate the request, prepare a proposal, and create the agreed written and audio deliverables. A conversation will be recorded only with the participant's express consent. Personal source material or a completed commission will not be published or used as a testimonial without separate written permission. The applicable proposal will describe any service-specific retention or deletion terms before payment.
6. How we use information
- Deliver emails, resources, calls, and services you request.
- Respond to questions and provide customer support.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site and publication.
- Understand aggregate engagement and publication performance.
- Administer purchases and fulfill future contractual obligations.
- Comply with law, prevent misuse, and protect our rights and users.
7. How information is shared
Archalon LLC does not sell or rent personal information, and we do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us perform the activities described here, when you direct or consent to the sharing, when reasonably necessary to protect people or the service, in connection with a business reorganization, or when required by law. Service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate.
8. Email and subscription choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing or publication emails at any time using the link in the message. Paid subscribers can manage, pause, or cancel eligible subscriptions through their Substack account settings. We may still send a limited number of transactional messages needed to complete a purchase, deliver a requested service, or respond to you.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to know whether we process your personal information, access it, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision about a request. You may also have rights to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not currently conduct those activities. To make a request, contact hello@intotheextraordinary.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. If information is controlled directly by Substack, Cal.com, or another provider, you may also need to contact that provider.
10. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the requested service, maintain appropriate business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of the information. We and our providers use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online transmission or storage system is entirely secure.
11. Children's privacy
The site and publication are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the project, providers, and legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when a new version is posted. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
